It's a busy, family oriented maple lodge/restaurant that has great pancakes and sausages. Take a walk through the trails and enjoy the outdoors. Learn a little about how to makenmaple syrup and visit the chain saw museum. Lots of stuff for the kids and a small petting zoo. Very enjoyable day and you get to fix the sweet tooth! Hours change during different seasons so make sure you check the schedule before heading out.

Been going here since I was a kid, and have always found it to be the best sugar bush in the area. Nothing beats the Wheelers pancakes, sausages and maple syrup! The dining hall is gorgeous, it has tall ceilings and a beautiful stone fireplace that makes the vibes very cozy inside. The service is great too, always fast and friendly! The walking trails are also well kept and easy to navigate, they aren't very strenuous and make for a nice activity after (or before) filling you belly! I will always recommend Wheelers to anyone looking for an excellent maple syrup experience.

I wasn’t sure if driving over an hour just for pancakes would be worth it, but after one bite, I knew it absolutely was. These were hands down the best pancakes I have ever had. The farm itself is beautiful, spread across 1,000 acres, and learning about the maple syrup-making process made the experience even more special. And the syrup? So fresh and delicious, it’s unlike anything you would find in a store. What really stood out, though, was the family atmosphere. You can see siblings, cousins working together, serving food, and sharing laughs. It’s clear this place is built on tradition and love. If you are planning to go, definitely make a reservation. it’s an experience you don’t want to miss.

Absolutely amazing!! The syrup is phenomenal!! We so enjoyed the pancakes, french toast and ohhh the sausage!!! You will not go away disappointed!! Clean and well staffed! The grounds are beautiful. Bring the kids to enjoy the swings, animals and museum. We purchased syrup to go after doing a flight of syrup. Who knew there were different types? Golden to dark. Very cool!! Nothing like it in the world!! The owners are the most fabulous people too! Go now!! You will enjoy!!

My wife and I have been to Wheelers four times, with many more to come. It is both a fabulous restaurant and a collection of several museums and displays. But let's start with the food. Oops, I should have went there first because, as you'll see from the picture, I couldn't wait to get that first bite of delicious sausage! Their pancakes are big, fluffy and tasty and the French toast is amazing! It goes without saying that the maple syrup is superb. Whether the place is jam packed or fairly quiet, the service is very fast. Most (all?) of the staff is family and it shows in their friendly efficiency. Once you've eaten, take the time to look around the place. It is really special. For one, they have what I believe is the Guinness certified largest collection of chainsaws in the world! There are many other types of fascinating antique equipment and gadgets. Then there is museum of maple syrup beginning with the invention of it by indigenous peoples. There are hundreds and hundreds of items. There is also the modern equipment inside the main building. And there is a vintage blacksmith shop, and on and on including some delightful live animals. So when you're planning your vist, be sure to include extra time.

Wheelers is a fun place to visit for a couple of hours, especially during the spring sap collection season. With around 40,000 sugar maple trees tapped, it’s also an educational experience to see how the sap is collected and the boiled to produce their amazing maple syrup. The entire Wheeler family (including parents & children) serve up pancakes, French toast, and maple sausages along with an unlimited supply of maple syrup in a huge log cabin. After your meal, it’s worth taking a tour of their boiler room, as well as the rest of the facility, which includes a museum of their farming equipment. Before leaving be sure to buy some maple syrup to take home.
